“I know you will love ‘The Ship’ as much as we do. When we found the pub, it had been closed for almost three years and derelict. It’s taken 21 years of hard work and a lot of effort – not to mention money – to breathe new life into the building and once again it’s the beating heart of the village. Now we think it’s one of the finest of its kind in County Durham.
Having brought the choice of drinks, the preparation and serving of the food, and the accommodation up to the highest standard, we’re not going to rest on our laurels. We’re determined, through continued hard work, to maintain the high standards we’ve set ourselves. We also consider ourselves to be very lucky in having found a beautiful little hamlet in which to live and work.
We love our home and just know you will enjoy visiting them.”
